Istanbul is a thriving tourist attraction with ample restaurants and bars all abroad. The only problem is that it can sometime be difficult for one to find a drink for an affordable price. These days, prices in these tourist spots can be as much as 10 YTL (USD 15.00). These prices are simply ridiculous, and should be avoided as much as possible. Hopefully after the article is read, one will have a better understanding where relatively cheap places can be found. The away, even those who are on a tight budget can afford to have a great time.
The price of one’s drink is all depending on the area that they hope to get a drink in. Places like Sultanahmet will be outrageously high due to the amount of tourists abroad. If there is a need to get a drink, I would recommend not falling for the traps in this area. The prices can be as much as 20 YTL (USD 30.00)!
Taksim is an area where there can be a few good deals. If in the area, try to look for them. The range in price here can be anywhere from 2.50-10.00 YTL (USD 3.75-15.00). Prices here are a little more affordable, but always remember that the right place must be found to acquire a good deal!
